OUR STARGAZING GEAR:
Tools for exploring the Night Sky
We believe that stargazing is best when shared—and great gear helps make those moments even more special. From our telescopes and binoculars to cameras and tracking systems, every tool we use is here to bring the night sky a little closer and make each event memorable for everyone.

Our New Telescope: the DwarfLab DWARF 3
We’re thrilled to share that the DWARF 3 smart telescope has been kindly donated to us by DwarfLab, enhancing our capabilities at Cosmic Calm.
Thanks to this generous gift, we’re now equipped to bring the night sky closer — whether through guided stargazing sessions, astrophotography workshops, or open-evening events. The DWARF 3’s compact, user-friendly design makes it perfect for both beginners and seasoned sky-watchers alike: quick to set up, intuitive to use, and powerful enough to capture planets, nebulae, and star-clusters.
We’re excited to put it to work — and invite you to join us under the stars and see what it can do first-hand.

Our Telescope: Celestron AstroMaster 76 EQ
We’re proud to use the Celestron AstroMaster 76 EQ, generously donated to Cosmic Calm by Celestron. This classic reflector telescope is an excellent all-rounder — perfect for introducing people to the night sky and sharing clear, detailed views of the Moon, planets, and bright deep-sky objects.
Thanks to Celestron’s generosity, we’re able to offer more hands-on experiences at our stargazing events. The AstroMaster 76 EQ’s simple, sturdy equatorial mount makes it easy to follow celestial objects as they move across the sky, while its 76 mm aperture provides bright, sharp views that never fail to impress.
At Cosmic Calm, we use it for:
-
Guided stargazing sessions, where visitors can observe lunar craters, Saturn’s rings, and the Orion Nebula.
-
Educational workshops, helping newcomers learn how to align and operate a telescope, switch eyepieces, and navigate the night sky.
-
Community events, where its reliability and ease of use make it a perfect teaching and outreach instrument.
We’re deeply grateful to Celestron for their support in helping us share the wonder of astronomy with our community.
